The 7 International Conference on Ocean Engineering (ICOE 2025) is a prestigious event organized by the
Department of Ocean Engineering, IIT Madras, a leader in engineering education and research in India. For this
event the department invites the ocean engineering community across the world to publicise their latest research.
The Department of Ocean Engineering has significantly contributed to ocean engineering-related education and
research in India. The conference was previously held in Chennai (1996, 2001, 2009, and 2018), Mauritius (2019), and
Germany (2019). The prior editions attracted high-quality submissions from around the world.
